Michael J. Halloran, CFA | Vice President Market Strategy

Michael Halloran joined BPU Investment Management, Inc. in January of 2010 as the Vice President of Market Strategy. Mr. Halloran has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. He is a focused and accomplished finance professional with a wide array of expertise, including financial analysis, equity and debt capital, program management and business development.

Most recently, Mr. Halloran conducted equity, convertible, and derivative security analysis, and trading for Large-Cap Core and Large-Cap Growth Equity Funds with several billion dollars of assets. He also has experience in structuring, analysis, and sales of corporate finance investment banking transactions including derivatives, high yield, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private placements, and loan syndications. Additionally, Mr. Halloran spent a decade in the aerospace industry where he performed research and development on fighter jet engines and held a top-secret security clearance.

Mr. Halloran holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University where he focused in Finance, Strategy and Operations. He completed an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida where he also successfully completed Ph.D. Qualifying Exams. He holds his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Halloran is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and has been affiliated with the CFA Institute since 2000. He also is an Adjunct Finance Professor for Point Park University’s MBA Program.
