Ilene Hurwitz Schwartz | Director of Marketing

Ilene Hurwitz Schwartz joined BPU in January 2011.  She previously served as Vice President of Development and Communications for Adagio Health Inc. (Adagio Health), Pittsburgh, PA for over four years.  Prior to her position at Adagio Health, Ms. Schwartz spent several years working in the finance and energy industries.  

Ms. Schwartz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Chatham College, a Master of Arts degree in Communications from Duquesne University and a Master of Public Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University. 

She has served on several local and national nonprofit boards and advisory committees throughout her career.  Currently she is a Member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of Luminari™ and a Member of the Board of Directors and immediate past President of Conservation Consultants Inc. (CCI), both in Pittsburgh, PA.
