Art Hazen, AIFA^® | Director of Retirement Plans

Art Hazen joined BPU Investment Management, Inc. (BPU) in June 2008 and has over 10 years of experience as a financial advisor.  Prior to joining BPU, he served as an officer and investment specialist at First National Bank, covering 17 of its branches.

Mr. Hazen is well known in the retirement plan arena.  He is the author of several articles for national and local publications on retirement plan issues and often is asked to serve as a speaker on topics within his area of expertise.   

Mr. Hazen earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (TM) (AIFA®) designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh.  He attended Youngstown State University and currently is enrolled at Missouri Southern State University where is pursuing his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.  

Mr. Hazen lives in Robinson Township, PA with his family.  He is actively involved with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Pittsburgh, for which he has been the chair of the organization’s annual fundraising event since 2008 to present.
