BPU Investment Management, Inc. (BPU) is a federally Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and FINRA registered broker-dealer, member FINRA/SIPC. BPU engages in three distinct lines of business: Asset ManagementAsset Management – by definition – is the process of dividing investments among different kinds of assets (such as stocks, bonds, real estate and cash) to optimize the risk/reward trade-off based on an individual’s or institution’s specific situation and goals. This is a key concept in financial planning and money management. BPU’s Asset Management Services are directed towards high net-worth families, non-profits and retirement plans. BPU began its RIA operations in 1991 with the purpose of providing comprehensive personal financial education programs and individualized financial counseling to the employees of area corporations. Today, in addition to its education and counseling programs, BPU provides comprehensive wealth management, investment consulting and fee-based asset management services for individuals, retirement plans, foundations, and corporations. Institutional BrokerageBPU began operations in 1986 with an emphasis on the fixed income investment needs of institutional clients. Today, its Institutional Brokerage Division provides a broad array of fixed income investment services to over 350 institutional clients including state and county governments, retirement plans, credit unions, insurance companies, and money managers.
